An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2 Healthcare Support Worker within Morningfield House Woodend Hospital. The ward is 21 bedded Ward that cares for male and female predominately elderly patients who require interim and 24 hour care. Patients can often have challenging behavior & can be a stressful environment at times.

The applicant should have a genuine interest in care of the elderly, good communication skills and be of a caring and compassionate character. The applicant should have NHS ward based experience. The applicant should work well within a team and work well under pressure. The applicant should also be committed to delivering high standards of care and be flexible to meet service delivery needs.

The ward works the 11.25 hour shift pattern and the posts are rotational of night and day duty.

This post is currently based in Morningfield House however you may be asked to work in another areas at Woodend Hospital, to meet service needs should this be required to ensure the delivery of safe patient
