Role summary
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Newcastle Gateshead Neighbourhood Team. The role involves leading and supporting high-profile commissioning priorities to improve outcomes, service quality, and value for money for communities. You will work autonomously to translate strategic priorities into deliverable commissioning plans and manage progress, risks, and outcomes. Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in commissioning
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Knowledge and Skills
- Evidence continuing professional development.
- Experience of project principles techniques and tools.
- Experience of estates, premises cost directions and capital funding relevant to sector
- Experience of identifying and interpreting national policy.
- Experience of operating in a politically sensitive environment.
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes.
- Working Condidtions
- Able to travel across various sites where applicable

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Newcastle Gateshead Neighbourhood Team on a 12-month secondment.
