Role summary
This role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality trauma care within Trauma and Orthopaedics. Essential criteria
- Current unrestricted registration as a Nurse, Midwife or AHP
- Working towards, will to start MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification with a commitment to complete pathway
- Mentorship/teaching course or willingness to complete in first 6 months
- Resuscitation/Life Support course (if appropriate to area and role)
- GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications)

- Leadership qualification/course
- Minimum of 6 months experience within the speciality at a band 6 or equivalent.
- Evidence of ability to work at advanced practice level
- Management of patients with complex needs
- Evidence of delivery of training

Trauma and Orthopaedics is recruiting! As a Trauma Coordinator, you will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre teams, emergency department staff, ward teams, trauma nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, and discharge coordinators to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and effective care throughout their trauma pathway.
