Role summary
This is a fixed-term Practice Educator role within the Education and Training team, focusing on pre-registration nursing. The post involves supporting high-quality learning experiences for non-medical pre-registration learners across the Trust. You will help ensure safe, effective, and well-governed practice learning environments and support the development of Practice Supervisors and Assessors. The role aims to make a meaningful impact on learner experience and strengthen placement quality.
Essential criteria
- Current professional registration with NMC/HCPC
- Substantial post qualifying clinical experience
- Post graduate teaching qualification or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of mentoring, supervising and assessing healthcare students in the practice setting
- Knowledge and abilities
- Understanding of variety of routes/programmes in pre-registration education
- Competent in supporting emotional needs of healthcare students
- Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience

The role will play a key role in shaping the future nursing workforce by supporting high-quality learning experiences for non-medical pre-registration learners across CFT.
