Role summary
This role is for a qualified or newly qualified Radiographer to join a dynamic team within the X-Ray department across multiple hospital sites. You will participate in a range of imaging tasks including general radiography, fluoroscopy, theatre, dental, and mobile imaging. The department offers opportunities for role extension and career progression, supporting staff in achieving professional goals. Applicants should be adaptable, motivated, and prepared to work evenings, nights, and weekends as part of a seven-day service.
Essential criteria
- DCR or BSc Diagnostic Radiography or pending qualification
- Registered healthcare professional (HCPC) or student due to qualify as a healthcare professional (HCPC)
- UK ENIC statement of comparability
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of life support skills
- Word Processing skills
- Personal Attributes & Skills
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Tact and Diplomacy
- Caring attitude towards patients
- Deal with all clients regardless of medical or social problems
- Ability to deal with clients who have barriers to communication (language, deafness, learning difficulties)
- Able to maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to deal with patients who have received bad news
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to follow procedures and protocols
- Able to accommodate the demands of the post as required with flexible working and good attendance.
- Able to travel independently between all sites as required
- Have a Logical & Methodical manner
- Knowledge & Experience
- Recent experience in busy Imaging Department (either as student or qualified radiographer)
- Recent experience in NHS (either as student or qualified radiographer)
- Evidence of CPD
- Previous out of hours working
- Qualifications & Training

Job summary
We are looking to recruit either qualified or newly qualified Radiographers. The post is a permanent role with various hours available.
In this role you will participate in a range of Imaging tasks within the X-Ray department across multiple hospital sites .
You will be working as part of a vibrant and dynamic team.A&E, inpatient, outpatient, theatre and mobile Imaging.
The Radiology Department is a progressive, forward thinking team and the candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the shaping and delivery of the Radiology service. We aspire to create an outstanding service, able to support individual staff needs.
Main duties of the job
Applications are welcome from enthusiastic and motivated newly qualified or experienced Radiographers looking to expand their skills in our busy, friendly Imaging Departments over a number of sites.
