Role summary

This role is for an enthusiastic Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Team at Broadgreen Hospital. You will manage a caseload across the reablement hub and stroke transitional unit, working with a broad range of complex conditions. The position offers opportunities to develop skills in dysphagia, communication, caseload management, and leadership within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to driving rehab and reablement for older people, including elderly care and stroke patients.

  • BSc/MSc Graduate
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Member of RCSLT
  • Post Graduate professional qualification

  • Attends regular SIG meetings in areas of clinical interest
  • Post qualification experience working with Adult Acquired disorders
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience of running Adult groups
  • Able to work with Assistants
  • Videofluoroscopy assessments with senior
  • Working with voluntary agencies
  • Teaching/training others
  • Involvement in audit or clinical research
  • Involvement in Clinical Supervision process
  • Experience of taking SLT observation students
