Role summary
This role is for an Out of Hours Community Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse, working four evenings per week from 7 PM to 11 PM. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload of housebound patients, providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in their homes. Key responsibilities include preventing acute admissions, leading a supportive team, and ensuring detailed patient records. The position requires an experienced nurse with leadership skills and a passion for community nursing.

- Specialist knowledge acquired through post graduate short courses, training or equivalent experience, in a relevant field.

- Previous Experience
- Demonstrable experience of working autonomously to deliver high quality and evidence-based nursing care.
- Experience in providing supervision to junior colleagues and students in the completion of routine nursing and clinical skills.
- Uphold the Trust's values of being caring, committed and working as team through demonstratable examples and experience.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Proficient use of digital tools and applications including Word, Outlook and patient management systems.
- Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel between multiple Trust sites and non-Trust locations, including patient homes, some of which may not be easily accessible via public transport.

We are currently recruiting for an Out of Hours Community Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse to join our busy yet rewarding team.
We are seeking to recruit someone with previous experience of working in a Community Nursing team who can provide leadership and support to develop staff in reaching their full potential.
