Job summary

This is an opportunity to work within the busy NHSBT Pay Support Department. We are looking to recruit a Pay Support Officer, who has a passion for helping us provide an excellent customer experience to our clients.

You'll need to demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment and enthusiasm to contributing to service improvement and development. Experience using our specific payroll system ESR is not essential - if you have payroll experience on any system, we can provide training. Your transferable skills and understanding of payroll processes will help you succeed in this role whilst working under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines.

NHSBT Pay Support pays over 6,500 staff each month and the Pay Support Officer role includes maintaining employee records, setting up payments and deductions. Expenses management. Query and overpayment handling.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintenance of the employee master file records in ESR including personal and pay data, ensuring that all master file data is up to date in accordance with operational requirements.
