Role summary
This role is for a Clinical Caseload Holder, Band 7, responsible for the operational and day-to-day management of a community nursing team within a defined caseload in the Bromley/Hayes area. The postholder will ensure quality of care, meet financial and performance targets, and act as a clinical expert in District Nursing, providing supervision to their team. They will work closely with the PCN Clinical Neighbourhood Manager and other Clinical Caseload Holders to ensure consistent and quality nursing care across community teams. The role requires flexibility, including working weekends and bank holidays, and involves managing a defined caseload of patients.

- Demonstrates an awareness of local and DOH legislation and its effects on service both nationally and locally
- UK drivers license with access to own car with clean driving licence

£55,524 - £62,652 Inc HCAS per annum pro rata
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Applicants must hold the DN SPQ qualification.
The Clinical Caseload Holder is responsible for the overall operational and day to day management of the community nursing team within their identified caseload.
They will be responsible for managing the team to ensure that quality of care, financial and performance targets are met and sustained. It is expected that the postholder will act as a clinical expert in relation to District Nursing, providing clinical supervision and line management supervision to their team.
They will work hand in hand with the PCN Clinical Neighbourhood Manager, and Clinical Caseload Holders across a range of issues and areas to ensure there is consistency and quality nursing care across the community teams and neighbourhoods.
The expectation is that the Clinical Caseload Holder will work with the Safer Care directorate to provide evidence based, in-depth clinical and professional knowledge and expertise for the nursing element of the service.
