Role summary
This role supports the Trust's improvement agenda by undertaking various improvement activities and helping staff achieve sustainable improvements. It involves working collaboratively with teams, using a range of improvement methodologies, and facilitating improvements through engagement, analysis, planning, and project management. The practitioner will also contribute to organisational learning by training, coaching, and sharing quality improvement tools and techniques.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience or training
- Training in quality improvement techniques in healthcare
Desirable criteria
- Trained Improvement Practitioner or equivalent improvement qualification.
- Recognised project management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, or experience or training in project management
- Experience of working with clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver significant improvements in service quality
- Experience of applying improvement methods across numerous pathways
- Experience of workload management and prioritisation
- Experience of working in or influencing operational management

- To support delivery of the Trust Improvement agenda through undertaking a range of improvement activities and supporting staff and teams to achieve sustainable improvements. To work collaboratively with teams across the Trust, utilising a range of improvement methodologies
