Role summary
This role is for an experienced Social Worker to join the Worthing Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIPS). You will support individuals and families affected by psychosis, developing and coordinating recovery pathways. The position involves creating treatment plans for complex cases within a multidisciplinary team. The service supports people aged 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis or an At Risk Mental State.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and co-ordinate an effective pathway of recovery for a caseload of service users, families and carers.
- Collaboratively create treatment plans for people with complex presentations.
- Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
- Support and treat people aged 14-65 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis or present with an At Risk Mental State.
Essential criteria
- Registered Practitioner with current registration Social Work, appropriate to the job role
- Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development

The Worthing Early Intervention for Psychosis is a well-resourced team of talented and creative individuals, offering a wide range of specialisms. We are looking for a highly motivated qualified Social Worker to join our team on a substantive contract.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant willwork with the team manager and clinical colleagues in order to develop and co-ordinate an effective pathway of recovery for acaseload of service users, families and carers.
