Job summary

Are you a confident leader with specialist knowledge of overseas patient charging regulations? We are seeking an Overseas and Private Patient Manager to lead our team and ensure chargeable patients are identified, supported and billed accurately across our Trust sites.

As the Trust's lead for overseas visitor legislation, you will interpret complex regulations and national guidance, make robust decisions on chargeable status and advise clinical and non-clinical colleagues. You will manage private patient arrangements, work closely with Credit Control to support timely income recovery, and ensure invoices, records and eligible EHIC claims are accurate and complete.

You will manage, motivate and develop the Overseas and Private Patient Team, coordinate workloads, monitor performance and deliver specialist training across the organisation. The role involves sensitive conversations with patients and families, requiring empathy, professionalism and sound judgement.
