Key responsibilities

- Provide advice and support to patients throughout their care journey.
- Provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care.

Essential criteria
- Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or 2)
- Has current registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register
- Experience in acute hospital or surgical care settings.
- Excellent communication and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to act professionally at all times.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective numeracy skills e.g. accurate drug calculations.
- Ability to organise self and others.
- Teaching and assessing skills

- Able to fulfil Occupational Health requirements for the post.
Desirable criteria
- Previous pre-assessment experience.

There are several roles available within pre assessment at both LGI and St James hospitals.
