Role summary
Much Wenlock & Cressage Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and caring Healthcare Assistant to join their busy team. The role involves assisting the clinical team with patient care, including venepuncture, ECG recording, wound care, and administering vaccinations. The successful candidate will work 27 hours per week, primarily Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and must be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
Essential criteria
- *Good standard of general education
- *Appropriate qualification in health and social care - NVQ level 3 or equivalent/care certificate.
- *Appropriate qualification in phlebotomy

- GCSE Mathematics
- GCSE English
- Competence in administering influenza vaccinations
- Competence in ear syringing
- Spirometry Training
- *Good communication skills (Written and Oral)
- *IT skills
- *Time Management and the ability to work to prioritise

Much Wenlock & Cressage Medical Practice is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our busy, friendly team.

Your working week
Tuesday: 8:00am 6:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am 6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am 6:00pm
There may be some flexibility around finishing times, which can be discussed with the successful candidate.
This is a permanent position , subject to successful completion of a probationary period.
