Role summary
This is an opportunity to join the Neonatal Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, working in a 24-cot Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role involves providing care for infants and their families from 22 weeks and above. Key responsibilities
- To assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a defined group of patients under the guidance of senior staff.
- To participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team in developing and maintaining a system of family centred care.
- To advise on the promotion of health, recognising the physical, emotional, and social situations that may influence the needs of the mother, baby, and family.
- To take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the babies and their families.
- To carry out custody and administration of drugs according to Trust Policies and Procedures.
Essential criteria
- Current 1st level RSCN/ RN/ Midwife
- Degree in Nursing
- Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of team
