Role summary

The Data Quality Administrator supports the integrity and accuracy of the Theatre Management Information System (TMIS) across the Trust. This role involves maintaining high-quality theatre information, validating data, and investigating anomalies. The post holder will also support the production of performance reports and provide specialist support for TMIS users. They will promote best practice in data entry, deliver training, and act as a key contact for system-related queries. Essential criteria

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Current employee of a LAASP organisation

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Commissioning Data Sets (CDS)

Job summary

The Data Quality Administrator (TMIS) is responsible for supporting the integrity, accuracy and effective use of the Theatre Management Information System (TMIS) across the Trust. The post holder will play a vital role in maintaining high quality theatre information, validating data, investigating anomalies and supporting the production of performance reports used to monitor theatre activity, utilisation and service delivery.

Working closely with clinical, operational and administrative colleagues, the post holder will provide specialist support for TMIS, promoting best practice in data entry and system usage, delivering training to users and acting as a key point of contact for system-related queries. The role will contribute to service improvement initiatives by ensuring that theatre information is accurate, timely and fit for reporting and operational decision-making purposes. TMIS is the Trust-wide theatre management system used for theatre scheduling, waiting list management and performance reporting.

Main duties of the job

  • Perform routine data quality checks within TMIS, identifying, investigating and correcting data anomalies and inconsistencies.
  • Maintain accurate theatre, scheduling and waiting list information within TMIS
