We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Manager to lead and oversee our transport and car leasing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient, compliant and cost-effective transport and logistics within NHS Dumfries & Galloway.
Key Responsibilities include
- Manage day-to-day transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery schedules
- Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Operator Licence standards
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, and defect reporting
- Lead, motivate, and support drivers and transport staff
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and operational costs
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Maintain accurate transport records and reporting systems
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to optimise logistics processes
