Role summary
This role is for an experienced Band 6 Midwife to join Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the launch of a new Maternity Triage unit. The midwife will rotate through various clinical settings including Antenatal/Postnatal Ward, Central Delivery Suite, Midwifery Led Units, Community, and Transitional Care Unit. The position offers comprehensive professional development and support for career progression. It is not suitable for newly qualified midwives.

With a fabulous co-located Midwifery Led Unit at St Michael's Hospital alongside another at Weston Hospital, you'll experience the benefits of a busy city centre specialist unit as well as the exceptional care we provide for low-risk birthing people at our Weston site. Community Midwifery Teams provide dedicated support for those choosing to have a home birth.
You will rotate through a variety of clinical settings:o Antenatal/Postnatal Wardo Central Delivery Suiteo Midwifery Led Unitso Community and Continuity of Carer Teamso Transitional Care Unito Maternity Triage Unit
You'll have the opportunity to work within our Antenatal Clinic, Day Assessment Unit and Fetal Medicine Unit. As the major tertiary Fetal Medicine Unit for the Southwest, we provide highly specialist care for birthing parents and their babies.
