- Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets i.e. PAS, Excel or similar applications

- Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures.
- Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems - As applicable to speciality
- Good general education with GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
- RSA II (or equivalent)

- Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR)
- NVQ in Customer Care
- Institute of Health Records & Information Management Diploma (IHRIM)
- Shorthand speeds of 80wpm
- European Computer Driving Licence

- Experience of managing health & safety issues
- Quality Customer Service

- Provide a range of administrative support services to the speciality Consultant Team.
