Job summary

Are you a motivated, patient-focused Pharmacy Technician looking to develop your career in a busy acute NHS hospital?

We have an exciting opportunity for a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Services team at Queen's Hospital. Working within a friendly and supportive pharmacy department, you will provide ward-based and dispensary services, helping to ensure patients receive safe and effective medicines throughout their hospital stay.

The role includes medicines reconciliation, drug history taking, assessment of patients' own medicines, dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and discharge patients, patient counselling, and final accuracy checking as an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT).

As part of one of London's busiest acute trusts, you will gain experience across a wide range of specialties, including acute medicine, stroke, neurology, oncology, respiratory medicine, endocrinology and frailty services.
