Role summary

This role involves fault finding, calibration, and maintenance of engineering plant and equipment, including low pressure hot and cold water systems and natural gas systems.   • oBTEC, ONC and HNC mechanical engineering. NVQ 3 in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • oAdequate knowledge of and within the proceeding three years training for, first aid treatment for
  • oTime served Plumber apprenticeship
  • at least 2 years plumbing experience
  • odriving licence

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a self motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Mechanical Plumbing and Engineering knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment. The day to day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, Energy Centre checks and responding to high priority emergencies to ensure continuity of service in a vibrant busy hospital.
