Role summary
This role involves fault finding, calibration, and maintenance of engineering plant and equipment, including low pressure hot and cold water systems and natural gas systems. The post holder will perform complex plumbing activities, undertake repairs, and minor improvements across the Trust. It requires a self-motivated, IT-literate craftsperson with strong mechanical plumbing and engineering knowledge to join the estates team. The role includes planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, Energy Centre checks, and responding to high-priority emergencies.
Essential criteria
- oBTEC, ONC and HNC mechanical engineering. NVQ 3 in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- oAdequate knowledge of and within the proceeding three years training for, first aid treatment for
- oTime served Plumber apprenticeship
- at least 2 years plumbing experience
- odriving licence

- Completion of a structured training program in mechanical engineering for a minimum period of 4 years.
- 2 years site experience.

Main duties of the job
