Role summary

Essential criteria
- Vocational qualification level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent plus additional knowledge acquired through training and experience to diploma or equivalent level
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 2 Cleaning and Building Interiors or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 2 infection control or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Recognised cleaning or support services qualification
- Training
- Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site.
- Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post.
- Level 3 Health & Safety Certificate.
- Level 3 Food Safety Certificate
- I. L.M or N.E.B.S.S Certificate or equivalent supervisor qualification
- CPC
- Experience in staff supervision of Facilities Services
- Experienced in delivering of training to staff
- Skilled in recruitment and selection of staff

- Contractual Requirements

Job summary

The role is to provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for up to 20 Facilities Assistants, which is essential in maintaining safe, clean, and compliant environments for patients, visitors, and staff.
Arnold Lodge is a Medium Secure Forensic Mental Health hospital. We provide care and treatment for individuals who have been admitted to us from other secure hospitals or from the prison service. Because of the specialised nature of the care, we are part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust although we are based in Leicester.
Main duties of the job
