Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and analytically driven Commercial Pricing Manager to join the Private Care division at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. You will lead the development of costing, pricing, and profitability models, support contract negotiations, and provide strategic insight to senior stakeholders. The role involves evaluating new services and commercial opportunities, ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing. You will work collaboratively with various teams and external partners, influencing decision-making across the organisation. This position offers a chance to shape healthcare services and contribute to the growth of Imperial Private Care.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to Degree Level
  • Actively pursuing a CCAB qualification (final stage) or Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience in data analysis

Desirable criteria

  • CCAB qualified (or equivalent)
  • Previous costing and pricing experience
  • Worked within the NHS or similar organisation for at least 2 years
  • Knowledge of commercial finance with an appreciation of costing and pricing
  • Experience of translating complex data from various systems into a financial model
  • Experience of computerised systems and software including spread-sheets, databases, word processors and email
  • Experience of working in a complex private healthcare setting and/or within health system insurance contracting
  • Experience of working within an commercial costing or pricing function for at least 2 years
  • Experience of Compucare or similar private care ERP/billing software
  • Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry along with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in a similar role in private healthcare or private healthcare insurance markets
