Role summary
This role involves delivering accurate and comprehensive payment services to Primary Care contractors and other parties, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The postholder will support the Payments/Payment Verification Co-ordinator in managing payments for NHS Health Boards and government departments. Key responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and comprehensive payments service to all Primary Care contractors and other parties.
- Ensure payments are in line with financial regulations and legislation.
- Provide assurance around probity and quality of payments.
- Monitor payment activity properly.
- Support the Payments/Payment Verification Co-ordinator in managing payments on behalf of NHS Health Boards and other Government departments.
Essential criteria
- Educated to HNC/HND level.
- Experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of NHS Systems e-Financials (eFin), Finance Process Manager (FPM) and CoMap.
