Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Personal Assistant to join the Division Admin Team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves supporting the Senior Management team and Divisional Management Teams. Key responsibilities include organising meetings, taking minutes, and managing diaries to ensure smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and exceptionally well-organised.

Key responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for delegated tasks and ensure information/replies are pursued within appropriate timescales.
  • Maintain knowledge of NHS developments, initiatives, and Trust policies.
  • Organise and prepare meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Plan, organise, and manage diaries.

Essential criteria

  • GCSE English grade A-C or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working unsupervised and to tight deadlines
  • Effective time management through organisation and diary management.
  • Previous experience in the NHS
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both in a written format and verbally, within a wide range of internal and external individuals/ agencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills requiring a flexible approach.
  • Understanding of the need for a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Must be self-disciplined, friendly, approachable, reliable, trustworthy, highly motivated, enthusiastic, discrete and committed.
