Role summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Night Supervisor to join our Domestic Services Team. You will be responsible for ensuring cleaning duties meet national standards and participating in audits. This role involves people management and driving efficiencies to enhance patient experience. You will work night shifts as part of a 7-day management rota.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure cleaning duties and frequencies are carried out based on the 49 elements of the National Specification for Cleanliness Standards (NSC).
- Ensure areas, wards, and departments are ready for audit at any time.
- Participate in daily joint cleaning audits and ensure quality monitoring is conducted in line with Trust policy.
- Complete rectification plans in a timely manner.
- Participate in a 7-day week management rota as scheduled.
- Understand Domestic Service Level Agreements to ensure services are delivered accordingly and cost-effectively.
Essential criteria
- Supervisory experience in healthcare setting
- Previous experience in people management
- BICSc trained or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience within cleaning services
