Role summary

This role is for a Performance Improvement Lead within the Trust's Operational Performance Team. The successful candidate will help continuously improve service performance by engaging with stakeholders and interpreting complex data. It offers an opportunity to develop skills and progress into more senior Performance Management roles. The position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and data analytical skills, along with experience in operational management and service improvement.

Essential criteria

  • Involvement in the development of proactive reporting functions to support business change.

Desirable criteria

  • Extensive NHS experience in an analytical or performance improvement role.
  • Experience in managing or leading on multiple projects in an NHS or health related field of work.
  • Experience of problem solving approaches and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent keyboard and PC skills
  • To be able to understand challenges faced by services at pace and work collaboratively to support improvements.
  • Communication and engagement with stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of NHS information issues.
  • Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality.
  • Understanding of the principles of NHS performance management
  • Knowledge of demand and capacity planning within an NHS organisation
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and principles
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Degree in scientific or business subject involving a high standard of numeracy
  • ECDL
  • Project Management qualification (Such as Prince2) or relevant experience
  • Business analytics and/or demand and capacity qualification
