Role summary
This Administrator role supports the Staffordshire STARS team, working with Adult Social Care to help adults achieve positive behavioural changes. The post holder will provide confidential and efficient administrative services, ensuring effective service provision with a focus on high-quality customer care. Responsibilities include maintaining patient and staff records, managing referrals, updating systems, and arranging appointments. The role requires working independently, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a potentially stressful environment.
Essential criteria
- Good standard of general education including English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or equivalent or Functional skills (English and Maths) Level 2
- RSA Stage III Word Processing / Text Processing or equivalent
- ECDL/CLAIT IT qualification or equivalent
- Must have a valid driving licence for the UK.
- Relevant experience in administration support role including dealing with telephone enquiries in a timely manner
- Experience of dealing with sensitive/distressing issues
- Previous experience of data input

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team within Staffordshire STARS. This team are working alongside Adult Social Care colleagues to support adults in making positive behavioural changes.
This role will provide a confidential and efficient administrative service within STaRS to achieve effective and efficient service provision. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlines to fulfil the requirements of the post, liaising with relevant others to provide high-quality services.
Main duties of the job
To accurately maintain and keep secure patient health and staff records/systems in line with Policy and Standard Operating Procedure, to ensure data quality, confidentiality and compliance with the current Data Protection Law.
This role will provide high-quality comprehensive administrative support to the team, including the registering of referrals, updating recording systems, requesting information from other partners, arranging, and booking
