Role summary
This role provides high-quality administrative support to Ealing Specialist adult services, including Podiatry, Nutrition + Dietetics, and SLT, within Ealing Community Partners. Job summary
To provide high quality administrative support to Ealing Specialist adult services (Podiatry, Nutrition + Dietetics, SLT) working with Ealing Community Partners (ECP), managing all referrals and calls as well as those that come through the single point of access (SPA) related work based in a call centre environment.
To handle the day to day administrative duties for the services as per the Job description. To also support the current line manager so support the service needs.
Main duties of the job
Administrators will check patient eligibility, register referrals in service specific SystmOne units and where appropriate, will arrange for the clinicians to carry out clinical triage and/or book appointments via telephone.
Call handling is a major part of the role as this is the main telephone service for patients arranging an appointment or enquiring about their care.
Administrators are responsible for sending correspondence to patients which will include clinic/appointment letters, and confirmation and reminder SMS's.
Administrator are expected to book transport for patient for those who are eligible and record any access needs to the system.
