Role summary

Job summary
We
are seeking an enthusiastic band 6 podiatrist to join our friendly,
progressive and supportive podiatry team. This role is designed to offer a
podiatrist the opportunity to continue to build and maintain their clinical
skillset within a structured and supported environment.
The
podiatry service operates mainly from a central hub at Surbiton Health Centre
where we operate a multi-chair clinic alongside several other community-based
health services. This ensures that all podiatrists in the team are very well
supported and can access multidisciplinary working across other health
professions such as lower limb and physiotherapy. This offers a unique learning
opportunity across our community health services. We also work closely with our
district nursing and tissue viability colleagues ensuring our patients receive
multidisciplinary care delivered in the community.
Working
within this setting means you will never be working alone. There will be
quarterly one to ones, clinical supervision sessions, interdepartmental
meetings, protected time for continued professional development and annual
appraisal. Our service covers nail surgery under local anaesthesia,
biomechanics with orthoses provision, core podiatry including domiciliary care
