Role summary
Join a friendly and supportive community rehabilitation team as a highly motivated Physiotherapist. This role involves providing high-standard physiotherapy care to a diverse population, managing your own caseload, and performing comprehensive assessments for patients with complex conditions. You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, delivering individualised treatment programs and contributing to clinical practice improvements. A car owner/driver is essential for community-based home visits.
Essential criteria
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- Evidence of ongoing CPD development
Desirable criteria
- Attendance at Post Grad Courses
- Membership of professional body or interest group
- Minimum of 18 months - 2 years post graduate experience.
- Broad post graduate experience with significant component in relevant area
- Evidence of minium 12m NHS Experience
- Supervision Experience of students or rehab assistants
- Participation in audits or projects
- Community working experience
- Skills and Aptitudes
- Ability to prioritise, organise and work in a busy environment.
- Ability to keep accurate and legible patient notes
- oGood communication skills, able to present information (written and oral) in a clear and logical manner
- Good presentation skills.
- oAble to deal with difficult situations, e.g. dealing with aggressive and/or emotional patients or carers
