Role summary

Job summary
The Royal Stoke Emergency Departments is going through an exciting period of positive development and change at the moment. We welcome motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Nurses to join our ED team.
These vacancies are being recruited on a 9-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover. Given the short-term nature of the posts and current service pressures within the department, we are unable to appoint Newly Qualified Nurses, candidates requiring relocation support, or candidates who require visa sponsorship. We have a workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care, leadership and development of the nursing team. You will be offered a period of supernumerary duty as well as training from a dedicated team and support and guidance through acclimatization and preceptorship.
Full and part time hours are available; you will be required to work an internal rotation pattern covering day and night shifts over 7 days including weekends and public holidays.
Main duties of the job
In this post you will be responsible for providing on going care of patients and providing an effective care pathway within the Emergency department.
