Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in customer care
- ECDL or equivalent experience
- Able to demonstrate commitment to and skills in customer care
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft and Trust applications
- Understanding of the IPM system or a similar PAS system
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to contribute to team working and to develop good working relationships
- Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive issues
- Detailed knowledge of the Outpatient Department and its current processes
- Understanding of the need of confidentiality awareness at all times
Desirable criteria
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent standard of education in English and Mathematics or equivalent work based experience
