Role summary
This exciting opportunity is for an Electronic Rostering and Attendance System Manager at Band 7. The role involves overall management and successful delivery of the Electronic Rostering & Attendance (ERA) system, focusing on change management and service modernisation. You will oversee the ERA System Administrators and Flexible Resourcing Team, ensuring effective service delivery. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers, clinicians, and stakeholders to realise benefits and ensure timely submission of mandatory external reporting and payroll data. The manager will also work to develop reports and tools to reduce fraud and improve system audit.
Key responsibilities
- Day to day management of the e-Rostering and Flexible resourcing Team.
- Management of Flexible workforce (staff bank).
- Supporting internal and external stakeholders with the e-Rostering system.
- Running and analysing data quality.
- Submission of payroll and other national submissions.
- Direct and effective management of the ERA system within time, cost and quality parameters.
Essential criteria
- oDemonstrate understanding of how to motivate and engage with people to implement change
- oManaging a team, ideally management of system service support teams.
Desirable criteria
- oGood understanding of current NHS issues and challenges
- oExperience of managing systems in other organisations of similar size and complexity within or outside of the NHS

At Gateshead Health an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Rostering and Attendance System Manager Band 7.
The service is looking for an enthusiatic candidate with knowledge and experience of e-Rostering.
The main purpose of the job is:
Responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the Electronic Rostering & Attendance (ERA) system to the required quality and standard. The System Manager will be responsible for management of the ERA system with a significant focus on change management and service modernisation.
Oversee the management of Electronic Rostering & Attendance System Administrators and Flexible Resourcing Team, ensuring effective service delivery and operational performance.
The post requires close working with suppliers, clinicians, internal and external stakeholders to ensure anticipated benefits are fully realised including the provision of staff information reporting.
To ensure mandatory external reporting has been reviewed, updated and submitted within expected timeframes on a monthly basis.
Responsibility for ensuring all data quality/reporting and tasks completed for payfile submission.
