Job summary

The Eating Disorders Service in Gloucestershire is growing and as part of Community Mental Health Transformation a review of all posts has been completed. We welcome applicants from traditional Mental Health Nursing backgrounds as well Allied Health Professionals - Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Arts Therapists, Physiotherapists.

The service provides specialist assessment, treatment and support for individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder and their families within Gloucestershire.

The GHC Eating Disorders Service is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic senior clinician to work within a specialist mental health service. The role will predominately focus on the treatment of Children an Adults with a complex presentation. The service is based in Cheltenham and Gloucester holding a caseload of 700 clients.

The post holder will assess, clinically manage, care co-ordinate and treat children, adolescents and adults with an eating disorder and their families. Working alongside other health care professionals including RMN's, RGN's GP's, Dieticians, AHP's, Psychologists and Consultant Psychiatrists in order to support service users within their recovery.
