Role summary
This role involves working as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within the Integrated Recovery Team in Barnsley. The successful candidate will work in a multi-agency team, integrated with a local substance misuse provider, to engage and support clients with co-occurring substance misuse and mental health issues who have historically been difficult to engage. Key responsibilities include assessing needs and risks, developing care plans, and liaising with various agencies. This is a fixed-term position for two years, with potential for extension.

We are pleased to advertise 2
brand new practitioner posts in Barnsley working in the Integrated Recovery
Team. The successful candidates will work in a multi agency team and will be
integrated into our local substance misuse provider Waythrough. The team will
attempt to work with clients in an assertive way who are difficult to engage
and have co-occurring substance misuse and mental health issues. The posts are
initially on a fixed term 2 year contract but this may be extended.

risks and complete a thorough care plan is essential.
