Role summary

This is a permanent, full-time Occupational Therapist position within a well-established Fatigue Service, encompassing both Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Post Covid Fatigue pathways. Job summary

Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to advance your Occupational Therapy skills?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) with ideally a broad range of specialist knowledge and skills of working in both physical and mental health services as a Band 6, ideally with a minimum of 5 plus years' experience in the NHS.

This is a permanent post 1FTE, in a niche area of OT and you need to be a team player in order to truly enjoy and feel the benefits of this role.

The post holder would be predominantly based at Mountbatten House in Dunstable, although will offer clinics across the county.

Main duties of the job

We are a well-established Fatigue Service with two pathways - the Bedfordshire Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service and the BLMK (Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes) Post Covid Fatigue Service (PCFS). Experience of working in these specialist areas is desired but not essential.

The service provides specialist MDT assessments and treatments for those patients whose main symptoms are mild to moderate and those with more complex presentations.

The post holder will work alongside other specialist professionals, including OT, Physiotherapy and Psychology; and will be well supported and connected
