Job summary

We are recruiting a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to our Team. The post holder will provide a high-quality, evidence-based dietetic service to infants, children, and young people across paediatric allergy, gastroenterology, and general paediatric conditions.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), the dietitian will assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutritional needs, supporting optimal growth, development, and long-term health outcomes. The role involves managing a combination of inpatient and outpatient caseloads.

Main duties of the job

When you first arrive with us you will have an induction period where you will be gradually introduced to the clinical caseload. You will then be supported to take on your own patients.

On an ongoing basis your responsibilities will include:

  • CPD activities - and we'll want you to share your knowledge with the wider department, helping to inform and develop policies where required
