Role summary
This role is for a Community Public Health Assistant 5-19 to join the Basingstoke Community Public Health Nursing 5-19 Team. You will work term-time only, 22.5 hours per week, based at Parklands House in Basingstoke. The position involves working with children, young people, and families, promoting health and well-being in partnership with schools. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, along with a full driving licence and access to a car for business use.
Key responsibilities
- Work as a team player under the delegation of the Community Public Health Nurse 5-19.
- Work in partnership with schools to promote and enhance the health and well-being of children and families.
- Deliver allocated components of the Healthy Child Programme.
- Prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
- Record clinical data on the electronic record system.
Essential criteria
- Good standard of education GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

- Public Health Qualification
