Role summary

This role is for a compassionate and proactive Senior Support Worker to join a team supporting seven gentlemen aged 60-76 with severe learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in a specialist social care home. You will help them live meaningful and fulfilling lives by supporting them with daily activities both at home and in the community. Essential criteria

  • Care Certificate in Health & Social Care or working towards it within 3 months from the start of employment.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, regulated by Ofqual (for example, BTEC, NVQ, or recognised Apprenticeship Standards).

Desirable criteria

  • A driving licence suitable driving in the U.K, and meets the requirements set out by the Trust insurers to drive the Trust vehicle.
  • Experience and Skills
  • Experience in a senior care role as a shift leader.
  • Experience in the administration of medication.
  • Experience of Working in a team
  • Experience of working with people with learning Disabilities.
  • To drive Trust transport in line with service needs.
