Role summary
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a Maternity Administration Assistant to join the busy Delivery Suite within Bournemouth Maternity. The role involves providing administrative and clerical support, requiring excellent computer skills, organisation, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week on a shift basis, including early, late, and night shifts, with two weekend shifts over a four-week rota. It is a demanding environment with constant activity.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English & Maths (minimum grade C/4) or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role or administrative experience and/or qualification
- Good team worker, flexible and adaptable to change
- Experience of dealing with members of the public
- The ability to use own initiative when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality
- Personal Attributes
- Ability to be able to work in busy and demanding environment

Job summary
We'reexcited to offer this opportunity within our Admin & Clerical workforce.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our busy Delivery suite within Bournemouth Maternity on permanent contract. The successful applicants will join a well established team who administer the delivery suite
Applicants should have excellent administrative/clerical experience, and good computer skills. You need to be organised and be able to cope with the day-to-day work that is undertaken by the team. There is a requirement for accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to work in an efficient and timely manner at all times. It is a very busy environment with a constant flow of traffic from all areas within the unit.
1 x 30 hours
There is shift work involved over a 4 week rota. There is 3 shift patterns are:
Early- 6am until 2pm
Late- 2pm until 10pm
Night- 10pm - 6am
There will be two weekends to work over the 4 week rolling rota.
