Role summary
This role involves acting as the primary contact for patients to manage their appointments for the Respiratory and Sleep Team. You will provide administrative support, including developing and monitoring systems for accreditation. Key responsibilities include managing clinical appointments, handling phone calls, and liaising with other teams for services like hospital transport. You will also be responsible for reporting clinical performance metrics.
Essential criteria
- Good standard of secondary education equivalent to 5 GCSEs
- NVQ Level 2 in appropriate subject or relevant business administration experience in a healthcare or client facing role
- Knowledge & Skills
- Experience of working in a team
- Relevant experience preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to use Word, Email and Hospital IT systems
- Handling case notes and deliveries
- Standard key board skills, call handling and speaking with patients/customers

Job summary
We are recruiting for a Respiratory Booking and Support Officer who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "working together, improving together".
Main duties of the job
You will act as first point of contact for all patients to arrange/re-arrange/cancel appointments. You will also act as administrative support for the Respiratory and Sleep Team developing, monitoring and auditing systems to aid IQIPS with the accreditation team.
