Role summary
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for Ward 14 and the Early Pregnancy Unit. Essential criteria
- Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements for individual patient care
- Recognise people's right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect
- NVQ 3 in care or equivalent or willingness to work towards
- Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above
- Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement
- Able to attend a 5-day Clinical Induction
- Committed to attending further training and development as identified
- Able to demonstrate clear and robust verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Previous care work experience
- Previous face-to-face customer care experience
- Flexible approach
- Able to work flexibly on a varied shift pattern according to the roster including nights and weekends
Desirable criteria
- Awareness of Safeguarding issues
- "Care Certificate" qualification
- Previous experience in a hospital setting
