Role summary

This role is for a Senior Administrator within the Neurodiversity Care Group, supporting Autism services across Doncaster and Rotherham. The position involves providing administrative support to clinical teams and management, with an opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship. The successful candidate will handle service user queries, manage appointments, and produce reports. This is a chance to gain experience and a nationally recognised qualification within the NHS.

Essential criteria

  • English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9-4 or A\*- C or functional skills level 2)
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related subject
  • NVQ level 3 in related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages
  • Working in a busy office environment
  • Office procedures i.e. filing, photocopying, message taking

  • Utilising online patient records systems
  • Understand importance of maintaining confidentiality and security of information
  • Skills/ Abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and in writing

  • Ability to relay correct messages but verbal and in writing

Job summary

The Neurodiversity Care Group covers Autism services across Doncaster and Rotherham and we are looking to recruit an additional Senior Administrator to support the clinical team across the Neurodiversity directorate.

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3apprenticeship qualification \[relevant to your role\].

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job

To support the clinical teams with all admin duties including dealing with service users and their family's queries, arranging and monitoring appointments, producing outcome letters/reports alongside other admin duties.
