Key responsibilities
- To provide a consistent, effective, accessible and appropriate 0-19 Service for children, young people and their families
- To work in partnership with agencies and families
- To signpost to partner agencies where assessed as required
- To lead the delivery of public health and universal and targeted interventions across the 0-19 years age range for a defined population
- To work proactively using a partnership approach to promote health and contribute to tackling health inequalities
- To work with children, young people and families within the home environment, school or other identified community setting.
Essential criteria
- Experience and training in Child and Adult Safeguarding
- Current NMC registration
- Healthy child programme
- Clinical governance frameworks
- Registered with Public Health Nursing qualification
- Qualified Nurse RM or RN registered
