Role summary

Surrey and Borders is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions for people accessing mental health services. The role involves working with individuals and groups, contributing to service development, and potentially taking on a lead professional role. Job summary

Surrey and Borders is looking for an Occupational Therapist who delivers high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessments, interventions and consultations to enable people who access services to reach their full potential.

Location: Berkeley House, 11-13 Ockford Road, Godalming, GU7 1QU

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday from 9am to 17pm

Main duties of the job

The occupational therapy leadership team is committed to an extensive, co-ordinated CPD programme including a robust supervision structure, care group meetings, Trust wide and core competence training and an annual conference. Staff is valued for their expertise in occupationally focussed interventions and specialist group therapy.

This post is suitable if you have had previous experience of working in mental health, you want to consolidate your knowledge of occupational therapy and be involved in delivering high quality, evidence based, outcome measured occupational therapy interventions. This post also gives you an opportunity to develop skills in care coordinating service users with an occupational therapy focus and being part of the assessment team.
