- For Band 3 appointments: NVQ / QCF Level 3 in a health-related subject or demonstrable equivalent experience supported by completion of a competency-based clinical skills framework
- Evidence of working with babies/children and young people
- Good understanding of the role of the Health Care Support Worker
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Basic IT skills
- Good organisation skills
- Demonstrate a positive approach to team working

- Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our paediatric team covering maternity leave within the Children's Unit. Holly Ward is a 19 bedded unit for children age 0 - 18. We care for children with a range of medical and surgical conditions. Experience of working with children and families is required and the ideal candidate will be flexible, have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a busy environment.
