Role summary

Job summary

We are seeking a qualified Reporting Sonographer to join Torbay South Devon Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and aligns with significant change in leadership in the Ultrasound team and wider Radiology management, driving the service forwards with ambitions to make significant quality improvements.

The preference is for full time employment working at Torbay and Newton Abbot sites, we are prepared to be flexible for the right candidate. This may be single site working or compressed hours.

You will work independently acquiring and interpreting diagnostic ultrasound images and then issuing clinical reports to referring clinicians. The role includes acute and elective general ultrasound scans and obstetric work and includes some weekends. You will be responsible for performing all designated ultrasound scans to the required departmental standards, following departmental protocols and national guidance/best practice. ****
