Job summary

The Oncology & Haematology Administration team are looking to recruit two Service Administrators (previously known as Medical Secretaries), who are highly motivated and can work on their own initiative, but are also strong team players who can support our wider team.

The roles will provide invaluable support by coordinating and organising the attendance of patients to the outpatient clinics, as well managing the clinical administration for these services. Post 1 will provide support to our Enhanced Supportive Care, Non-site Specific and Acute Oncology Services. While post 2 will support our multi-disciplinary Haematology team.

Ensuring all administrative processes and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. Act as a point of contact for the department or speciality, dealing with queries and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members, as required.

Provide excellent customer care in a calm and professional manner where some situations may be challenging.
