Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join the South Kirklees Enhanced Pathway team, a community mental health team in Huddersfield. The role involves providing specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for service users, working within a multidisciplinary team, and acting as a care coordinator. - Specialist knowledge and application of Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions relevant to mental health.
- Extensive clinical practice skills including individual and group work.
- Understanding of occupational therapy outcome measures.

Job summary

opportunity for any OTs looking for a Band 6 position in the community, we
have a 30-hour post and a full time position open to applicants.
The South Kirklees Enhanced
Pathway team is a community mental health team operating in Huddersfield, as an
Occupational Therapist you will be crucial to the MDT way of working and
pivotal in delivering high quality care.
We have adopted the Flexible
Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model of care for service users who are
presenting with increased risk and require a more intensive level of support.
This feature allows care coordinators to involve the wider MDT in assessing and
formulating daily risk management plans.
As the teams OT you will be
responsible for conducting OT assessments and interventions with our community
service users and working within the OT network that is well established across
the Enhanced Pathway
We are looking to recruit an
enthusiastic and motivated qualified OT practitioner who can work in a
flexible, innovative and creative way. The role will primarily be based in Folly
Hall Mills and we operate Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, we are keen to support a
good work and home life balance so flexible working is available.
